11 buttons (1 cm diameter) plus one extra fancy button (optional) for embellishment.

Gauge: 24 sts and 35 rows in stockinette stitch on ndls 3,5 mm after blocking = 10 x 10 cm

Suggested needles:
3,5 mm/ 80 cm circl ndls for body and sleeves
3,25 mm/ 80 cm circl ndls and dp ndls for the button bands, sleeve ribbing and finishing
