Just like the god from which it derives its name, the Hermes Vest has some tricks up its sleeves.  At first glance it appears to be a vest, but loop its corner into some hidden holes at the neck it becomes a dress.  Take it off and put your head through the arm hole it becomes a long poncho.  Twist it around and put your arm through the other hole, it becomes a matador cape.  It is as diverse as the god, and as ready for an adventure.

Made from a vintage Suzani, a one-of-a-kind hand embroidered textiles made in Uzbekistan.  Originally made for women's dowries, this embroidered technique has been passed down from mother to daughter since ancient times.  Each symbol, pattern and color are specifically chosen by the creator to tell a story.
